This course covers the special maintenance tasks required for RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum) and LVO (Low Visibility Operation). The RVSM part of the training includes introducing the RVSM concept, regulations and requirements, approval process, and general procedures and practices. The LVO part covers low visibility operations, Category II and III operations, and equipment and operating minima requirements.

The format is a narrated PowerPoint presentation with animation, video, and text divided into 1-2 minute segments. A chapter quiz following each section and a final exam concludes the course. Upon your successful completion, a certificate with your name will be provided.
On average, the course duration is 2 hours, however, this will vary based on your study habits. When you begin, you will have 1 year to complete and review the course.
In addition to your printable certificate from InfoWerk, the following FAA credentials will be applied upon your completion.
IA Renewal Training Credit
This course (FAA ALC-1322) qualifies for 2 hours of IA Renewal Credit. If you hold Inspection Authorization (IA), this course serves as the entirety of your annual continued training requirements. Upon your successful completion, ATB will authorize this credit through FAA and a printable IA certificate of accomplishment will be made available at www.FAAsafety.gov.
